Prepping for Your Boudoir Session

Although each studio session is different based on your style, this guide will help you get some ideas of what to bring along so we can get the most out of your session!

Getting Ready For Your Boudoir Session

"Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself" - Coco Chanel

The Space

My studio space is the best mixture of vintage and boho vibes. Most walls are white, with neutral decor & colors to compliment. You can expect mostly natural lighting from windows!

What to Bring

This part is largely up to who you are and what you are most comfortable wearing. Think about your interests and share that with me so I can make this shoot as much YOU as possible.

- Choose up to five outfits that you feel comfortable and confident in, it doesn't have to be lingerie necessarily (I'm a big fan of oversized flannels or cardigans).

- Your favorite shade of lipstick or lip gloss

- Accessories: Tights, fishnets, socks, hats, etc.

- Jewelry: long necklaces and chunky rings will stand out nicely in your photos.

-Shoes! Thigh high boots, that pair of heels in your closet that you love but they never see the light of day...

If this is a gift for your man, maybe snag a few of his flannels or favorite team memorabilia to include in your session. I've actually had a girl bring her fiancé's boxers along once which turned out pretty cool actually! If he's not into sports, maybe look around for things like one of his books, his reading glasses, or a tie from his closet.

You can't bring too much! If you show up with two suitcases, I will just ask if you need help carrying them in - you'll get no judgement from me! It's better to have too much than not enough to choose from.

Hair & Makeup

Consider booking hair and makeup for your boudoir session to give you that extra boost of confidence!
